(It is occasionally remarked to me that I spend more effort on one-line jokes and things like roleplay group reminder notices than on anything else. I deny this quite often.
The gods of Rylp'lay are restless. Unappeased these last two months
they stir in their deep sedation, rolling over the sheets of their
torment, stealing the duvets of their entrappment from their loved
ones. They hunger, they thirst.
They must be appeased.
Tomorrow shall be the day of sacrifice, for any longer and we risk
activating the alarm clock of activity, and they shall rise again and
demand caffeinated beverages. They shall awaken and require fried
solanaceae. They shall rouse and and solicit goods deep fried in
batter.
They shall rally, and the world will fall.
Your presence is required to assist with this assuagement,
at 15:00 tomorrow we shall begin the rites, rituals and rolls that
will allow these dark gods to remain comotose.
Be there.
Bring caffeinated beverages that we may sacrifice in their honour. We
shall obtain the solanaceae and battered goods that day also.
And the world shall not this weekend perish.
(No, nobody brought any drinks)
